You want to improve your level of Dutch ànd invest a minimum of time and budget? Then we have the solution for you!
For only €10,00 per session you participate in an exclusive and live online workshop, in which I will explain one element of the Dutch language at a time and we practice together with fun and useful exercises. Every week there is a new workshop and you can re-register for another element of the Dutch language.
You can join this lesson carrousel at any time and choose the topics that interest you most. Or you join every week, that’s even better. Each week you will improve your knowledge of Dutch a bit more.
After each lesson:
- You will speak and understand the Dutch language better
- You will be more confident in conversations with Dutch speakers
- You will improve your reading, writing and listening skills step by step
- If necessary, you are better prepared for the NT2 integration exam
Fabienne van Dillen will be your teacher. She has a lot of experience and has taught hundreds of students. On top of that she lived and worked abroad herself. Join the lessons and she will make you feel more confident step by step.
Participate whenever suits you
The lessons are live and personal. Pick and choose the subjects you find interesting. The carrousel will continue all the time, so when you miss a lesson, no problem, you just attend it when it comes along again.
1. Personal pronouns (23-Sept-2022 12-13h)
Ik, jij, hij, zij, …… without personal pronouns you cannot start a sentence. In this lesson you will learn when and how to use personal pronouns. |
2. Regular verbs present tense (30-Sept-2022 12-13h)
Ik werk, jij werkt, … how does the conjugation of regular verbs work and which verbs are most used. A very important lesson if you want to speak Dutch properly. |
3. Most frequent irregular verbs (7-Oct-2022 12-13h)
Hebben & zijn. Like in any language there are irregular verbs. In Dutch too. Let’s look at the ones we use all the time. |
4. How to ask questions (14-Oct-2022 12-13h)
Wie, wat, waar, waarom, …. always good to know how to ask questions, what is the right order of the words and can you say it in a polite way. |
5. Possessive pronouns (21-Oct-2022 12-13h)
Mijn adres, jouw fiets, ons huis, ….. After this lesson you can indicate in Dutch what belongs to who. |
6. Articles de-het-een (28-Oct-2022 12-13h)
Het boek, de fiets, een appel, … What is an article, what is the function and difference between the one and the other. This lesson is crucial for the correct use of Dutch. |
7. Diminutives (4-Nov-2022 12-13h)
Een biertje, een kopje koffie, een tasje,… The Dutch have the habit to make a lot of words small with diminutives. It sounds nicer and kinder to them. You will sound really Dutch if you can use diminutives too. |
8. Make proposals (11-Nov-2022 12-13h)
Zal ik koken? In this very useful lesson you will learn to propose something in Dutch, how to invite someone for a meeting or a date, or how to express what you can do for someone. |
9. Plurals (18-Nov-2022 12-13h)
Treinen, auto’s, scooters… There are 3 ways to make words plural. When do you use the one or the other? Let’s practice. |
10. Adjectives (25-Nov-2022 12-13h)
Groot, grote, rood, rode,.. Adjectives are written and pronounced in different ways. Why is that and how can you use it too? In this lesson you will learn new adjectives and how to use them. |
11. Giving orders (2-Dec-2022 12-13h)
Kom hier, help mij, … Giving orders in Dutch can be complicated. You do not want to sound like an army general. In this lesson you will learn how to give orders in a kind and polite way. |
12. Modal verbs (9-Dec-2022 12-13h)
Ik kan werken, jij moet slapen,… If you know how to use the 6 modal verbs, your life in the Netherlands will become a lot easier. Let’s exercise. |
13. Steps of comparison (16-Dec-2022 12-13h)
Groot, groter, het grootst, …. In this lesson we will discuss the comparatives and superlatives. How can you express that your house is smaller and his appartement is bigger. Let’s practice! |
14. Object forms (23-Dec-2022 12-13h)
Ik help jou, jij helpt hem, ik heb het, … It is very handy to know about the objects (persons or things) in a sentence! In this lesson I will explain the direct and indirect object forms. |
15. Demonstrative pronouns (30-Dec-2022 12-13h)
Dit, dat, deze, die …. Point at an object and say if you prefer this or that one. In Dutch you have 4 options. Do you know when to use the one or the other? I will explain and we practice together. |
16. Negative forms (6-Jan-2023 12-13h)
‘Niet’ or ‘geen’ are the Dutch words for making sentences negative. You want to know when to use what and practice? Then subscribe for this session. |
17. Past Perfect tense (13-Jan-2023 12-13h)
If you want to tell your Dutch colleagues or friends what happened yesterday, or last week, you need to know about the most used past tense. In this lesson I will give you an introduction and we practice with regular verbs. |
18. Past imperfect tense (20-Jan-2023 12-13h)
You want to describe a situation from the past or tell a story about your childhood, you need to use this past tense. This will be an introduction and you will practice with regular verbs. |
19. Practice verbs in past tenses (27-Jan-2023 12-13h)
We will practice with verbs that are frequently used in Dutch and make sure that you know how to use them in all the different tenses. |
20. Conjunctions (3-Feb-2023 12-13h)
En, of, maar, want, dus. These are 5 important conjunctions you need to know about. You can then connect two sentences together in a simple way. |

Other training options
Intensive training
The intensive training course is intended to prepare you for doing business abroad within a few weeks, even as little as one week. You gain language knowledge quickly and thoroughly, for example for a trade show, a presentation or a new position.
